rusty_esp_dsp: PIE SIMD kernels for ESP32
PIE SIMD kernel home for ESP32-S3 and ESP32-P4, with scalar oracles
Replaces: ESP-DSP C kernels
What is rusty_esp_dsp, the PIE SIMD kernel crate?
rusty_esp_dsp is the PIE SIMD kernel home for ESP32-S3 and ESP32-P4. Scalar oracles check the kernels, and the crate replaces ESP-DSP C kernels.
What rusty_esp_dsp replaces
rusty_esp_dsp is PIE SIMD kernels for ESP32-S3 and ESP32-P4. Each kernel has a scalar oracle so the fast path can be checked against a plain one.
Why rusty_esp_dsp is a PIE SIMD kernels for ESP32
What rusty_esp_dsp keeps from ESP-DSP C kernels
rusty_esp_dsp keeps DSP kernels on the chip. ESP-DSP C kernels are what it replaces. The scalar oracle stays in the crate on purpose.
Where rusty_esp_dsp fits
rusty_esp_dsp is the math under rusty_esp_audio and the other sensor crates. rusty_esp_core still names the samples. This crate only speeds the arithmetic.
